Dear colleagues,
The scholarships will initially be awarded for one year. Sufficient progress provided, the scholarships can then be extended upon request, adding up to a maximum of three years.
The scholarship is - subject to the promise of funds - worth € 1,400 monthly plus € 100 for material resources.
Deadline for application is June 12th 2016.
Upon application, candidates should provide evidence of the following set of credentials:
- above-average university degree (M.A. or equivalent) in political science or a neighboring discipline / studies related to the spectrum of the engaged disciplines in the doctoral program
- interest in both theoretical and empirical questions on democracy research as well as active participation in the doctoral program
- excellent knowledge of English
