Contemporary business environment is multinational, fast pacing and highly competitive. Being a changing landscape, it requires sound business sense, mutual cooperation and strong communication skills to deliver the message, negotiate the deals and bring about the projects to fruition. The course highlights the areas of business communication, which are essential for smooth and effective performance in multiple business settings. The course covers the basics of Business Communication, providing the knowledge of the theoretical elements, patterns and strategies of the communication accepted as being conventional in international business. The course adopts two tire strategy to achieve its objectives: free flowing discussions based on audio/printed materials and practical tasks based on business case studies. The former strategy aims to encourage active listening, note taking and discussions of the business practices such as leadership skills, business ethics, team work, time and product management.
