Abstract

Practice-oriented course, the objectives of which are: the development of the ability to conduct research in the field of management, the acquisition of knowledge about modern information technologies used to conduct research, the acquisition of knowledge about working in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and the development of skills for searching and processing information.
Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives

  • To be able to build the correct basis of the research (consistent aim - objectives - research questions)
  • To be able to conduct a critical analysis of a relevant literature and conclude the main results of previous studies
  • To be able to use appropriate research methods, find sources of data, collect and analyze data
  • To obtain an empirical evidence, understand the basis of goodness of the data and evaluate critically results
  • To draw thoughtful conclusions, provide discussion of the research results
  • To be able to present the results vividly

  • To establish a good base of the scientific research
  • To form appropriate and interconnected aim, objectives and research questions of the study

    Interim assignments made in class connected with research questions, topic formulation, articles for the analysis

    Final presentation that consists of: Topic formulation & purpose of the research RQs & their justification Aim & objectives Primary literature review Visual strength & involvement

    Written assignments: trends essay, forms for discusssion, data-base work, scenarios
  • non-blocking Visual power set
    Submission of key visuals from the seminars (cognitive map, conceptual model, mind map, ontology)
  • non-blocking In-class activity
  • non-blocking Pre-defense presentation
    Pre-defense presentation of the research
  • non-blocking Final RS presentation
    Final presentation of the research made - as a rehearsal for the further defense
