'Our universities—HSE University-St Petersburg and the Indian Institute of Management Indore—started training their first students 25 years ago. We also share an approach to teaching economics, one that takes into account the influence of economic life on the social sphere. The projects carried out by the laboratories at HSE University-St Petersburg are thematically similar to those carried out in Indore, sharing an emphasis on environmental management and social problems in society.'

IIM Indore is one of the leading business schools in India and one of top five leaders in the business education market. More than 1,800 people study at the institute. It was also ranked 454th place in the QS World University Rankings 2024.
During the visit, the universities discussed the development of contacts in such spheres as business education and design and agreed to implement several projects, including the launch of the mirror laboratory. The universities plan to launch a joint Executive MBA programme titled 'Running Business in India'. The parties have also agreed to expand their cooperation, including student exchanges, online lectures, and the organisation of a return visit by Indian professors to St Petersburg.

During the meeting, Varvara Nazarova, Academic Supervisor of the Master's programme 'Finance' at HSE University-St Petersburg, delivered a lecture for students of the PhD programme 'Financial Health of a Company and Key Indicators'.

At the end of the visit, Anna Tyshetskaya and Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, planted a tree in the alley of honoured university guests.
