HSE University – Saint Petersburg Goes Online from October 25

Due to the threat of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 and in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, HSE University – St. Petersburg will temporarily switch to a distance learning. The order signed by Anna Tyshetskaya, Director of HSE University’s campus in St. Petersburg.

Studies will be arranged in the following manner:

 
– from October 25 to October 29 –– distance learning; 
 
– from October 30 to November 6 –– asynchronous online studies for both undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with the use of LMS resources (students will study on their own). It will be also possible to arrange online consultations with teachers during that period;
 
– from November 8 to December 30, all classes and exams, including the winter examination period, will be held online – partially or completely, except for classes that cannot be taught remotely. A full list of such classes to be determined taking into account the student council’s opinion and once confirmed by the faculties’ councils. Such classes will be held in groups of no more than 15 students with all the mandatory precautions in place. 
 
All the information regarding access to the campus’s particular premises during the distance learning period will be published on the official HSE University – Saint Petersburg website and on our social channels.
