Practical solutions were developed for the companies: Sveza (world leader in the production of birch plywood) and Association GAOORDI (St. Petersburg Association of Public Associations of Parents of Disabled Children "GAORDI).
Within the project commissioned by Sveza, the 2nd year students conducted a comprehensive assessment in the field of ESG of the company, determined the key factors influencing the CSR policy of the company; conducted a comparative analysis of ESG policies of companies in the selected industry; determined the main trends in ESG policies based on the current macroeconomic situation.
The following tasks were analysed and solved to implement the project proposed by the non-profit organization GAOORDI: to determine the main taxes paid by non-profit organizations; to identify the dynamics of changes in tax liabilities of the organisation; to assess tax risks and develop recommendations to optimise the tax burden of the organisation.
Developing practical solutions and defending projects with the active participation of representatives of the business community help Master students improve their analytical skills, gain experience in business communication, and can be a driving force in professional development and further career growth.
