PROCareer Event: Digitalisation in Banking from BSPB

On 30 January, the Kantemirovskaya video studio hosted an online panel discussion with experts Alexey Sergeyevich Ganichev, Deputy Director of Programming at Bank St. Petersburg, Varvara Nazarova, Head of the SEM Finance Department and Academic Supervisor of the Finance Master's Programme, and moderator Maria Mikhailovna Abramovich, Project Manager at the Career Development Centre and guest lecturer at the SEM Department.

During the discussion, it was possible to discuss key trends of digitalisation, such as the use of cloud technologies, blockchain and mobile applications. The participants described the current situation and key trends, and tried to find reasons for the increased interest in digital technologies. Representatives of Bank Saint Petersburg presented interesting cases from the work of the regional bank.

The second issue of the meeting was the discussion of SWIFT system adaptation in the context of sanctions - alternatives to SWIFT and their implementation in the Russian financial sector. The discussion centered on issues such as interaction with friendly countries, market opportunities and current offers
