Master Program “A Usable Past: Applied and Interdisciplinary History”

A new Master Program, “A Usable Past:  Applied and Interdisciplinary History,” will open in 2015 in the Department of History on the Saint-Petersburg Campus of the National Research University, Higher School of Economics. It is a 2-year International Master Program taught in English.

The article "Modernization of Soviet Pulp and Paper Indusrtry and Technology Transfer in 1953 - 1964: The Case of Enso/Svetogorsk" by Elena Kochetkova, a research assistant of the Center for Historical Research, was published in Laboratorium which is a peer reviewed journal of social research.

Paper by Julia Lajus, Associate Professor, Faculty of History, with co-authors" Coastal Fisheries in the Eastern Baltic Sea (Gulf of Finland) and Its Basin from the 15 to the Early 20th Centuries" is published in international high-ranking open-access scientific journal Public Library of Sciences (impact factor 3,730).

Elena Kochetkova, a research assistant of the Center for Historical Research, has returned from a short-term internship at the Aleksanteri Institute (Helsinki) which was made possible by the support from the Center for International Mobility, Finland.
