On February 13, the head of the Laboratory, Julia Lajus, will give a presentation "Solovki Islands. History of Envrionment and Heritage" at the international seminar "Managing Cultural and Natural Resources in Russian Museum-Reserves," organized by Higher School of Economics university and Humboldt University of Berlin.

On December 18 at 18:00, Charlotte Wrigley, an international postdoc of the Laboratory, will give a presentation "A Discontinuous Earth: Life, Extinction and Permafrost in the Russian Far-East" at the Laboratory seminar.

Preprint "Urban Improvement: The Making And Using Of Green Spaces In St. Petersburg (1870s-1910s)"

Mikhail Vsemirnov, a graduate of this year's History study program at the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, recently published a preprint based on his graduation thesis. The text is published on the website of the preprints of the program of fundamental research (link: https://wp.hse.ru/prepfr_Humanities), and everyone can, if desired, familiarize themselves with the work.
