Coworking space

Not so long ago after the reconstruction of the former room 119, a new, creative coworking zone was opened in Sedova corps. What is special about this place and what amazed students - read in our news.

Coworking is some space in a building where people work, which implies contact and joint activity of like-minded people. In our building it is now located on the first floor. Comfortable sofas, armchairs, a lot of tables in a proximity to sockets, a place for playing chess and checkers, a table for ping-pong are now situated in the spacious room. The whole design is made in the best "Vyshka’s" traditions - colorful walls, bright furniture, and 2 designer chandeliers, which have already become the main photographed objects.

What do students think about the new coworking?

Veronika Astratova, 2nd-year student	«My groupmates and I always wanted to have something like this in Sedova corps. When we saw the carpet and the painted walls, it became more or less clear what would be in the 119 room. But what we saw as a result exceeded all our expectations. There was a very beautiful and stylish multifunctional space in which you can not only conveniently study, but also relax. Personally, I was still very pleased with the number of sockets at the tables, because before a discharged laptop was an ongoing problem».
Anastasia Vlasenko, 1st-year student	«You have a coworking zone on Sedova now, why are you here?" – my friend from management program asked me when we met at Kantemirovskaya. And really, what else can I dream of? From the 119 room in which we had Philosophy classes, there was no trace left. But now there are super cozy sofas, which have already managed a couple of times to serve as a place for sleep, carpet, the magic color of the walls. There is a zone for playing chess, but here a minus - I do not know how to play them. In general, our project on Information Systems was written exactly in the zone for coworking, we rehearse our presentations and just meet during the breaks here. Finally, there is a quiet place on Sedova for those who are tired and hungry for peace!»
Alexander Vilkhovenko, 1st-year student	«In general, I was very happy about coworking. Now, in addition to the computer room, we have another place where we can spend time after studying. Moreover, it is much more pleasant than all other places. From the pros, I can point out that it is quiet, has a very good noise suppression. The interior and chairs are pleasant, on which you can spin as long as you like. It is well ventilated and there is a place for playing chess and soft furniture, which our corps lacks. The main minus for me is that it is prohibited to be there with drinks. Sometimes I want to take cacao in Granola and go to the lounge zone, read something, drink my favorite drink, but... ».
Milena Oleshko, 1st-year student	«Repairing the room and transforming it into a coworking space was a pleasant surprise for me. Now it is not just an ordinary room to which we despairingly went to discuss our projects when everything else was occupied. Now it is the place where everyone wants to sit on the couches, play chess or table tennis. It's equally nice to do homework, just chatting with friends or getting ready for the presentation. Now it is our coziest room on Sedova».
