Feels Like Summer

Feels Like Summer

© EGRA

Hola, Hello and Privet for all our readers. This article will focus on TOP 5 things to do in our amazing city during your summer vacation. And, by the way, that will be our last TOP 5 list this academic year.

#1

The first thing is taking a channel boat trip. You can do it during the day and enjoy our beautiful city. You can also book a night tour and see the opening bridges with lights and amazing views.

We recommend that you should try both options and choose the best one for you.

Where: from each berth in the city center

How much: 250-900 rub (try to bargain and cooperate with the sellers)

#2

Roof excursion will be an unforgettable evening with your friends. You can see the whole city from central roofs and explore small streets right down. But for this activity you definitely need to wear sport shoes (no high heels) and not to be afraid of heights. You can also bring some sandwiches or snacks and make a picnic on the top of the city! Remember: such activity is very dangerous!

Where: you can find an excursion company online

How much: 500-1500 rub

#3

Visit the The Gulf of Finland. It is actually a little bit far from the city. Nevertheless, you can easily take a train to Sestroretsk. The road will take around 1 hour and the best stop is Solnechnoe (Солнечное). That’s a nice natural area with a public beach. There you can find beautiful Russian forest and feel fresh air around.

Do not forget to bring some food and water with you. There are actually some restaurants and cafes, but what could be better than a picnic outside the city?! (just picnic inside the city, joking…)

Where: station Solnechnoe (train from Finlyandsky Railway Station. Metro station Lenin sq., red line)

How much: 100-200 rub (they also have 50% discounts for students)

#4

Lakhta center - the biggest building in Europe. It is very tall and brilliant. You can see it in reality and bring these memories with you. Actually, I’ve never been there. So no ideas more. You can visit this place and right your own feedback!

Where: Begovaya metro station (green line)

How much: public transport 100-200 rub

#5

Divo Island - the biggest amusement park in Saint Petersburg. But there is also a nice green park behind. So you can visit this area for one day and explore different parts: ride on the carousels and then walk through the green area and feed squirrels (do not forget to bring nuts with you).

Where: Krestovsky Ostrov metro station (purple line) or Novokrestovskaya (green line)

How much: up to you, no suggestions

That’s it for today!

We hope this article was interesting for you!

Wish you to have the best summer in the best city!
