Schedule of Final State Examinations 2026
The Final State Certification (FSC) at the "Political Science and World Politics" Undergraduate Programme of HSE Saint-Petersburg comprise following state examinations:
- final interdisciplinary examination
- thesis defence
Final State Certification Programme 2026
Deadlines
- Uploading Project Proposal via the LMS system - March 9th, 2027 (23.00);
- Uploading the final version of the thesis to the LMS (via the dedicated LMS module) - May 17, 2027 (23.00);
- Submitting a printed version of the thesis to the Study Office - May 24, 2027*.
*Thesis should be submit in hard cover labled "Выпускная квалификационная работа".

Diploma with Honours
Requirements:
- all grades for courses (modules), internships, projects and term papers (projects), which are specified in the diploma supplement, must be either Excellent, Good or Pass;
- all grades received during the FSC process are Excellent;
- the share of Excellent grades specified in the diploma supplement, including grades provided based on a student’s FSC results, must come to at least 75% for all grades, with the exception of Pass grades specified in the diploma supplement.
