Abstract

General concepts of corporate information systems. Basics of building information systems of the ERP class. Features of implementation of information systems of the ERP class. Overview of the SAP technology platform. The organizational structure of an enterprise in the SAP S/4 HANA. Material planning in SAP S / 4 HANA. Material flow management in SAP S/4 HANA. Financial accounting and reporting in SAP S/4 HANA. Managing customer orders in SAPS/4 HANA. Human resources management in SAP S / 4 HANA.

  • Expansion, structuring and systematization of knowledge on IS and IT and their integration into an enterprise (organization) from the managerial perspective.
  • Introduction to the purposes, functions, architectures and standards of the corporate IS.
  • Understanding of sociotechnical approaches to IS incorporation into organizations.
  • Analysis of current corporate IS market development and its projected future trends.

    intermediary quizzes will be suggested to the audience to check perception, understanding and ability to use the course materials in practice.
  • non-blocking Essay
    This assignment could be done by the student individually or in a small team of maximum 2 students. An abstract or an essay is a text document in which the author(s) presents his/her/their vision of a certain scientific problem (topic) through the analysis and synthesis of information from one or more sources. It is supposed to be a critical (full, creative, with elements of analysis) comprehension of the topic, analysis of the degree of relevance and development of the problem (topic) and formulation of their own conclusions on the analyzed material, as well as the presentation of possible prospects for further research on the problem.
  • non-blocking Exam
    The final written exam to be suggested upon completion of the course in the hybrid format: multiple choice questions plus questions requiring plain answers.
