 Program features:

Content courses cover a variety of topics, Business and Economy, History and Culture, Science and Technology, Society and Politics, Medicine and Law. In addition, PE courses such as Chinese Kungfu and Chinese Folk Dance, and different levels of Chinese language courses are also provided. Apart from the courses, various extracurricular and social activities, such as Fudan Campus Tour, Ice-breaking, Shanghai City Exploration, Huangpu River Cruise, Company Visits, Chinese Dragon & Lion Dance, Chinese Calligraphy, etc., are also arranged for students to experience the Chinese culture and the wonders of Shanghai, achieve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and get connected with peers from Fudan and all over the world. After successful completion of the course study, students will be awarded a program certificate and the official transcript from Fudan University.

Programs:

1. Global Village (June 18 – July 4, 2025)

Global Village is a unique teaching internship where participants teach conversational language to DKU students. Over three weeks, participants lead small-group classes in their native language, focusing on interactive learning and cultural exchange. The program offers a unique chance to build meaningful connections with local students while gaining firsthand insights into Korean culture. Plus, teaching is not only rewarding, it's a fantastic opportunity for participants to learn more about themselves and build valuable skills along the way.

2. Academic program (July 5 – August 1, 2025)

The four-week Academic Program brings together students from around the world to take one or two engaging courses taught by international and DKU professors, with the opportunity to earn transferable credits. Outside the classroom, the program offers a variety of exciting after-class activities and field trips. With activities like K-pop dance, Taekwondo, and Temple Stay, participants are to experience Korean culture and enjoy an unforgettable summer.

3. Korean Immersion program (August 4 – 22, 2025)

The Korean Immersion Program is a language and cultural experience designed to fully immerse participants in the Korean language and culture. Through intensive Korean language classes and a variety of engaging cultural activities, participants will have the opportunity to learn both the language and the culture that makes Korea unique. With a part of the classes taught by DKU students, participants will also have the unique opportunity to connect with local students and make new friends.

The Winter Session at J. F. Oberlin University is two weeks, 1 session, intensive program in the center of Tokyo (Extra optional Hakuba Snow trip available). Courses offered in 2025 will be several content course and two levels of Japanese language courses. Each course allows participants to have first-hand experience through not only theoretical study, but also through field trips and lectures by guest professionals. Upon completion of each course, participants will be issued an official transcript from J. F. Oberlin University (4 credits/course).

Once students have submitted their preferences, only then will the course offerings be confirmed. There will be no credits given for this winter school offering. Timings of the courses will be determined at a later date based upon the geographic locations of the students participating as well as the IIT Bombay professor. The course load will be 20-25 hours for the 5 days. The students are expected to attend all dates.

Students will not receive credits for attending the winter school course.

CommTECH Nusantara is a short program aimed to introduce various Indonesian cultures to participants from all over the world. The program also focuses more on art & culture activities such as introduction such as traditional music & dance, exploring culture activities in each region, foods and many more. Moreover, at the end of the program, participants will present their creative ideas in Virtual Project Exhibition . Delivering the special theme of Wonderful Indonesia Cuisine, participants will explore amazing Indonesia Cuisine from various regions.

This program is open for non-Indonesian active diploma, bachelor, master & doctoral students from any background, non-academic staff and Faculty/Staff from overseas university.
