Deem academically – act strategically: partnership meetings on the sidelines of AMEC - 2019

The last September week was indeed eventful for the HSE School of Economics and Management: for two years already, our university has been successfully organizing and hosting a broad scientific discussion on the sidelines of ‘Analytics for Management and Economics Conference’.

 Traditionally, during the academic and ceremonial events of AMEC, we welcome distinguished researchers and university representatives from all over the world.

 Two strategically important meetings with the deans and professors of the Kraków University of Economics and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem took place at the School of Economics and Management.

 Maxim Khomyakov, Deputy Director of the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, and Elena Rogova, Dean of the St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management, informed their foreign colleagues about our educational and academic progress, current projects, alongside with ambitious plans for the future.

Opportunities for the further partnerships in various fields were discussed: students’ exchange, joint scientific research, graduates’ engagement in academic activities in the framework of obtaining PhD degrees in Russia and abroad.

 Following on from the negotiations’ results, the participants made a joint decision to begin the active phase of cooperation at the dawn of the next academic year.
