The exhibition '213х203.ZIP' was the result of the work of two student groups in the track 'Communication Design' who specialise in motion graphic design. The name of the exhibition is a combination of the numbers of the groups.

The exhibition presents alternative film posters designed by third-year students in the second module. During the second module, the students worked with famous films and designed visual representations for possible future ones.

Visitors will also see alternative idents and break bumpers for film studios, as well as trailers for future films.

Over this and previous years, our students have accumulated a lot of good posters which I really wanted to exhibit somewhere. Back then, there were no suitable venues nor a topic that would unite everyone, so the material was collected but not exhibited. When my students were working on alternative identities for film studios in the previous module, I received an offer from the administration of the House of Cinema to prepare an exhibition. This is how this place came about. The uniting topic was an alternative perspective on the graphic language of already existing and future films. Students found film directors they would be interested in working with themselves.

The exhibition will last till February 17. Entrance is free.

The project is carried out with the joint support of the St Petersburg Organisation 'Union of Cinematographers in Russia' and the HSE Art and Design School.
