HSE University — Saint Petersburg Students Entered the Semi-Finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest
The quarterfinals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC 2020-2021) took place last weekends. 6 teams from HSE University — Saint Petersburg made it to the top-20, three of which qualified for the semi-finals.
International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is a world championship in team sport programming. This is the largest and the most prestigious student programming competition, which attracts participants from more than 100 countries.
Last weekend, the North-Western Russia Regional Contest, the ICPC 2020-2021 regional quarterfinal, was held. 148 teams from 27 universities of Northwestern Russia attended the contest. 12 student teams from St. Petersburg School of Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science represented HSE University — Saint Petersburg.
Six teams of HSE University — Saint Petersburg made it to the top-20. According to the championship rules, three of them qualified for the final competition of Northern Eurasia, which will be held on December 13, 2020.
