HSE St. Petersburg School of Economics & Management Becomes Member of AACSB

Is it an important step for our university which demonstrates its profound focus on internationalization and commitment to educational quality. The mission of the AACSB is to advance quality management education worldwide. It is the longest serving membership and accrediting body in the world for institutions offering undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. HSE St.Petersburg is aimed at obtaining international institutional accreditation and increasing its international visibility. Moreover, HSE St.Petersburg has received access to many valuable resources and data which are now available to faculty, staff, and administrators.

The American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business was founded in 1916 by a group of seventeen American universities and colleges, including Harvard University, The University of Chicago, NYU and many other prominent universities. AACSB requires universities to go through an accreditation process, which rigorously assesses quality of the university. Achieving AACSB accreditation may typically take between 3 to 7 years to complete. Less than 5% of the 15,000+ business programs worldwide have received AACSB accreditation, making it a very elite group.
