Student mobility programs: how to spend a semester abroad

Recently, we announced the results of the double degree program competition with the University of Trento. However, this is not the only option for academic mobility available to students in the Comparative Politics of Eurasia program. Today, we discuss another opportunity - semester exchange programs.

Student mobility is a program that allows students to study at foreign universities that have cooperated with HSE. The studies at a partner university typically last for a semester, although some students choose to extend their exchange for a year. Students can choose to go in autumn or spring, depending on the availability of vacant places. If you would like to study at a university that is not in cooperation with HSE, there is still an opportunity to do so through the "free mover" option. More information about this can be found on the link provided.

In case you were unable to participate in the academic mobility program from St. Petersburg HSE for some reason, you can still apply for the inter-campus program. Detailed information about this is available on the HSE website.

Students of our program not only have the opportunity to study abroad on an exchange program, but they can also participate in a competition for double degree programs. If they win this competition, they will be able to spend one year or six months at the Master's program "European and International Studies" in Trento and receive two diplomas - from HSE and from the University of Trento.
