Moscow Financial Forum 2025: "The Financial System: Challenges and Tasks"

The Moscow Financial Forum 2025 has become a large-scale platform for discussing key issues of the Russian economy and finance, bringing together representatives of government, business, the scientific community and universities. Vladislav Afanasyev, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, lecturer at the MP "Finance", attended the event from our campus. 

The central theme of the Forum this year was "The Financial System: Challenges and Tasks". The participants also discussed the macroeconomic situation, issues of digitalisation of the state budget, the public procurement system and business support measures, the development of financial literacy among Russians and other topics.

Vladislav Afanasyev, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, lecturer at the MP "Finance", attended the event from our campus. The presence of a representative of our campus at the forum allowed us to get a first-hand look at the current agenda in the field of finance, to understand what issues are currently of interest to those who determine government policy in this area, in order, among other things, to focus research areas in accordance with these issues. According to Vladislav Viktorovich, this year the topics of the thesis and the course students of the SHEM will take into account the current agenda. For example, one of the topics: The impact of financial literacy of employees on the financial performance of enterprises.
