Mikhail Grechishnikov enrolled in the Master's programme 'Comparative Politics of Eurasia' right after graduating from the Bachelor's programme 'Asian and African Studies' at HSE University-St Petersburg. The master's degree gave him a lot of opportunities: Mikhail made new acquaintances, studied important subjects such as data analytics, decided on the sphere he would like to work in, and started his career in the Government Relations Department at Megafon. He talks about all of this and more in his interview.

Ekaterina Shelukhina is completing her fourth year of studies in the Bachelor's programme 'Applied Mathematics and Information Science'. In autumn, she passed the selection process for the VK project workshop. There, she works on the interface of the Robbi machine-learning platform. Ekaterina shared her impressions of the project and her trip to Moscow.

On February 25, at the initiative of the Student Council, a Situation Centre was created at HSE University. HSE University – St. Petersburg administration and the Student Council will take part in the joint organisation of the work of the Situation Centre. A recipient of numerous professional awards, designer, artist, and project curator, Andrei Lublinsky has been placed among the most prominent public art artists in Russia, according to AD Magazine. Professor Lyublinsky is also a lecturer in the Division of Design and Contemporary Art at HSE University in Saint Petersburg. March 15 is the deadline for nominating candidates for the HSE Alumni Awards, which are given to outstanding alumni of HSE University. This year, the awards will be given in ten categories.

Konstantin Noskov, who received his Master’s degree from HSE University in 2001, will head the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media. He is the second HSE alumnus to join the Russian government: Maxim Oreshkin will continue to lead the Ministry of Economic Development.
