Initiation, Lectures and a Lot of Music: What We Will Remember About HSE SPB DAY 2023
HSE SPB Day has been held at Sevkabel Port in the open air. HSE students were congratulated on the beginning of the academic year by the trustees, faculty deans, and the rousing HSE Dance Club. The first-years had an initiation ceremony, participated in activities from student clubs, and danced to popular songs on the Gulf of Finland. They received well wishes from the professors, representatives of large companies and, of course, student organisations. 'University is a Community of Both Current and Future Professionals': How HSE Orientation Week Went
HSE Orientation Week came to an end. It was organised by the Career Centre and the Alumni Community. Within a week, there were 12 meetings at HSE University-St Petersburg in which 40 alumni of the campus and 350 first-years took part. Workshops, Dances and Quests: HSE SPb Day at 'Sevkabel Port'
HSE University-St Petersburg invites its students and other guests to HSE SPb Day—the brightest holiday of this autumn. Participants will have a chance to meet student organisations of HSE University-St Petersburg, attend a theatre workshop, play a live chess game, listen to the lectures about the youth and enjoy the tracks by DJ Feel, which put everyone in a good mood.
Graduates of Political Science Compete in World Debating Championships
Evgeny Akulov and Evgeniya Zubko, graduates of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics', took part in the World Universities Debating Championships Belgrade 2022. They qualified for the playoffs and were ranked among the top 10 teams in the category 'English as a Foreign Language'.
HSE University-St Petersburg’s Big Graduation Returns
On July 1, more than 1,500 newly qualified bachelor’s and master’s graduates of HSE University-St Petersburg celebrated with their mentors at the campus’s traditional joint graduation ceremony. The event was an especially major personal event for one graduate, who received a marriage proposal during the ceremony.
