Mikhail Turchenko has successfully defended his PhD thesis

One of our faculty members - Mikhail Turchenko - has successfully defended his PhD thesis. On February 26, 2019 he presented his research on the topic Electoral Process Transformation Factors in the Russian Regions from 2003 to 2016 to the dissertation committee: professors Rostislav F. Turovsky, Nikolai Petrov, Boris Makarenko, Petr Panov and Paul Chaisty. 

Mikhail Turchenko has been working at HSE - St. Petersburg for more than 5 years already. He holds several courses for bachelor students and often takes part in various events organized by our program. Last year he received the award "Best teacher - 2018". 

On behalf of all students and faculty members we conglratulate Mikhail Turchenko with such a success and wish him all the best in his fututre career and academic achievements! We also congratulate his accademic supervisor Andrei V. Starodubtsev.
