The New Academic Year to Begin In-Person for Everyone
In light of the epidemiological situation, the new academic year is to begin in a face-to-face format on all HSE University campuses. Established safety measures remain in place.
HSE University — St. Petersburg Partially Resumes Offline Classes Starting from March 29
HSEUniversity — St. Petersburg resumes offline classes and switches over to blended format from March 29, 2021. Sergey M. Kadochnikov, the Director of HSE University — St. Petersburg, has signed the directive.

There is a student mobility programme in HSE - St.Petersburg that allows students from different countries study in Russia. Nowadays, students from Spain Mariona Sero and Berta Valles have courses with russian students of programme History. Hero of Anti-Apartheid Movement Albie Sachs Visited HSE Saint-Petersburg
On September 27 an outstanding South African lawyer, judge of the Constitutional Court of South Africa (1994-2009) Albert (“Albie”) Sachs gave a lecture called "Forging a Constitution for the New South Africa: from Racism to Equal Rights for All", sharing his experience with the students and academic staff of the HSE.
