This programme trains specialists, who are not only able to carry out archival work, but also engage in serious analytics and take part in interdisciplinary research projects in various languages. The guiding focus of the programme is to systematically develop such fields as global, comparative, and transnational history so that these subjects can serve as a potent tool for overcoming the limitations of the established canon of national history, as well as foster an interdisciplinary dialogue in the social sciences and the humanities. It also aims to help popularize historical knowledge, adherence to global academic and research standards, and integration into the international academic community. Furthermore, there is a specific focus on academic mobility, student involvement in research projects, and finding quality careers for graduates on the Russian and global job markets.
