Abstract

The course «Doing Business in Russia» provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the current business environment in Russia, including its economic structure, regulatory framework, and market opportunities. The program focuses on developing practical skills for analyzing business prospects, assessing risks, and implementing effective strategies for entering and operating in the Russian market. Students will study key aspects of doing business in Russia, including market entry strategies, legal and tax regulations, currency control, logistics solutions, and specifics of building business relationships. Special attention is paid to understanding the cultural characteristics of Russian business, negotiation practices, and the peculiarities of interaction with local partners and authorities. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical examples, case studies, and analysis of real business situations in Russia. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to make informed business decisions, develop effective market entry strategies, and successfully manage business operations in the Russian market, taking into account its unique characteristics and current challenges.
