Main components of the research in Management. Research as the iterative process. Overview of the research methods. Citation management systems, information sources. Academic writing and publication standards. Emerging trends in management research, including digital research tools, AI-assisted literature analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Research questions in quantitative and qualitative research. Research impact, knowledge dissemination, and practitioner relevance. Contextualization of the study. Academic databases, digital libraries, and information sources. Main steps and the types of the literature review. Critical evaluation of scholarly articles and research reports. Research hypotheses. Formulation of research questions, objectives, and hypotheses. Identification of research problems and gaps in the literature. Research design principles and the“research onion”model. Research paradigms and philosophical foundations (positivism, interpretivism, pragmatism). Research design and methodological choices. Theory-methodology fit. Qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches. Justifying methodological choices. Sampling techniques and participant selection. Survey design, interviews, focus groups, case studies, and observational methods. Structuring and presenting results.Writing the discussion section: interpreting results, comparing with prior findings, and identifying implications. Highlighting contributions, limitations, and avenues for future research. Discussion of practical significance versus statistical significance. Research limitations and methodological constraints. Research ethics, authorship, and plagiarism. Presentation of research. Research ethics and academic integrity, responsible conduct of research.
