HSE University Improves Position in the First Hundred of THE Young University Ranking

HSE University has improved its position in the recently published Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Ranking, rising from 98th to 87th place. This is the best position among Russian universities. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, holds first place.

A total of 673 young universities (founded in the last 50 years) from 79 countries are listed in the ranking. About half of the participants are from Asia. The top ten also includes four universities from France (Sorbonne, for example, takes 8th place), three from Hong Kong, one from South Korea, and one from the Netherlands.

11 universities represent Russia on the ranking. HSE University is the leader among them, rising by 11 points: from 98 to 87.
