'The Russian session provoked a great interest among the conference participants and became one of the liveliest platforms for discussing topical questions of the educational system, including the Russian one. International partners were allowed to directly obtain information about educational programmes, and opportunities of Russian universities, and discuss potential ways of cooperation. Our delegation held meetings with more than 30 partner universities and higher educational institutions interested in cooperation with HSE University'.

Dr Mohd Ariffin Abu Hassan, Director for International Affairs at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), one of the leading innovative research universities in the Asia-Pacific region: 'UTM and HSE University told the conference participants about the current results of the cooperation. In the first place, about the creation of a joint mirror laboratory of HSE University-St Petersburg and UTM Azman Hashim International Business School. I really hope that thanks to such projects and participation in international sessions for exchanging experience, we will reach certain results and establish even more efficient cooperation with the Russian university'.

Another example of successful cooperation is the published results of 'International Ranking of Human Development Potential of Cities in BRICS+ Countries' developed by the Laboratory for Reputation Management in Education at HSE University-St Petersburg together with the Panamerican University (Mexico).

'Thanks to participation in the conference, we assured ourselves even more of the common goal for the whole educational system—the balance between technological progress and harmonious development of humans. Today, it is a global trend. This is what HSE University and our partner-universities are working towards'.

The conference 'Asia-Pacific Association for International Education 2024' gathered more than 2500 delegates. The topic of the 20th forum was 'Collaborating for Sustainable Impact: Partnerships Across the Asia Pacific'.

The host parties were five Australian universities: the Curtin University, the University of Western Australia, the Murdoch University, the University of Notre Dame and the Edith Cowan University.
