Key Employers Pick HSE Graduates

HSE’s St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management is on top 10 of the Most Popular Faculties among the Russia’s Key employers of 2017. It is the only regional faculty among Moscow-based universities that is ranked in the listing.

In 2017, HSE University St. Petersburg and the above-mentioned School became members of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The faculty is almost ready for being accredited by AACSB and to verify the highest academic standards of studying.

All together five departments of the St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management offer the applicants three Bachelor’s and seven Master’s programmes, taught in English and Russian.

As a member of QTEM international network, St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management provides the students of Master’s programmes ’Big Data Analysis in Business, Economy, and Society’’Finance’, and ’Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods’ with the opportunity to gain international mobility study experience alongside with internships in multinational corporations.

The Master’s programme ’Finance’ has already been acknowledged by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) last October. The programme profile ‘Financial Management’ is also accredited by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in accordance with the international standards PRMIA (Professional Risk Manager) and GARP (Financial Risk Manager) to provide its graduates the global career perspective.

Earlier in 2016, the programme took part in the European universities project International Masters in Economy, State & Society (IMESS).

 

The Future Today’s annual listing of top employers and most popular faculties is based on students’ and company leaders’ opinion survey conducted by dozens of HR experts and recruiters on the Russian market. Kommersant newspaper published the results emphasizing that evaluation technique provided by the global management consulting firm McKinsey.
