How does it work?

If you have received a 50% scholarship for undergraduate studies for four years, you will get an additional 5% discount for your first year of study upon signing your admissions contract and paying for your 1st and 2nd modules of study (i.e. half of the full annual amount) until June 30, 2020. Thus, your scholarship will cover 55% of the total fees.

Let's take one of the most popular programmes at HSE University – Saint Petersburg, 'Political Science and World Politics ', as an example. The tuition fee for each year is 390,000 Russian rubles. With a 55% scholarship, the amount you will have to pay would be 175,500 rubles. You can calculate your own grants&scholarships using an online calculator.

How do I receive the additional 5% discount to my scholarship?

Applicants for undergraduate programmes must pass two exams (two core subjects) online. Be sure to take advantage of mock tests that the University has made available online. They might increase your chances of admission.

Those applying to graduate programmes at HSE University are required to submit a portfolio and have an interview online.

Once admitted to the programme of your choice, you must confirm your acceptance of the admission offer in your personal online account. Afterwards, you will receive an official email with further instructions about the additional discount.

Whom can I contact if I have questions?

The Admission Coordinators are always available to help, whether you are seeking advice about your academic path, want to learn about scholarship opportunities, or have questions about the admissions process.
