Career path of graduates

My name is Fengchen Wang, and I am from China. I received my master’s degree in Management and Analytics for Business in 2020, with a specialization in people analytics. During my master’s studies, I also served as an intern research fellow at the Center for Applied Research and Development. There, I gained my first experience understanding and analyzing first-hand business data, which yielded very positive results.

After completing my master’s, I pursued my business and academic careers in parallel. I continued my research as a doctoral researcher at HSE University, while also starting a role as Department Head of Business Performance Research at Beke—one of China’s largest real estate companies. Currently, I work as the Operation Manager and Chief Executive Assistant to the Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield Vanke Service in Shanghai.

The master’s program provided more than just knowledge; it also fostered an analytical mindset and opportunities to collaborate with cross-cultural, international teams. From this, I can conclude that these experiences have jointly been extremely valuable for both my business and academic careers.
