On June 30, HSE University-St Petersburg gathered almost 5000 guests at KSK 'Arena' for the main event of this summer—graduation 2024. Bachelor's and master's students were congratulated by their friends and family, professors and faculty deans as well as HSE University-St Petersburg trustees. The diplomas of HSE University-St Petersburg were awarded to more than 1400 people, and 280 of them received the diplomas with honours. To mark the occasion, we talked to students and professors of the campus about their plans for the year—in science, careers, extracurricular activities and beyond.

On February 2, the building on Promyshlennaya Ulitsa hosted the opening of the exhibition 'From HÓDMEZŐVÁSÁRHELY to MOSONMAGYARÓVÁR: A Typographic Journey around Hungary'. The exhibition showcases lettering compositions devoted to ten Hungarian cities and created by students of the HSE University-St Petersburg Art and Design School. The opening ceremony was attended by the director of the Hungarian Cultural Centre and the science and technology attaché of the Embassy of Hungary in the Russian Federation.

HSE University-St Petersburg invites its students and other guests to HSE SPb Day—the brightest holiday of this autumn. Participants will have a chance to meet student organisations of HSE University-St Petersburg, attend a theatre workshop, play a live chess game, listen to the lectures about the youth and enjoy the tracks by DJ Feel, which put everyone in a good mood.

In light of the epidemiological situation, the new academic year is to begin in a face-to-face format on all HSE University campuses. Established safety measures remain in place.

This year, all minors will be available to students of all four HSE campuses

In order to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 spreading, starting from October 26 HSE University will hold lectures in a distance mode for all categories of students.

On October 9, III International Kotchoubey Readings came to a close. This year the event was held in an online format for the first time ever. There is a student mobility programme in HSE - St.Petersburg that allows students from different countries study in Russia. Nowadays, students from Spain Mariona Sero and Berta Valles have courses with russian students of programme History.
