'University is a Community of Both Current and Future Professionals': How HSE Orientation Week Went
HSE Orientation Week came to an end. It was organised by the Career Centre and the Alumni Community. Within a week, there were 12 meetings at HSE University-St Petersburg in which 40 alumni of the campus and 350 first-years took part. Graduates of Political Science Compete in World Debating Championships
Evgeny Akulov and Evgeniya Zubko, graduates of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics', took part in the World Universities Debating Championships Belgrade 2022. They qualified for the playoffs and were ranked among the top 10 teams in the category 'English as a Foreign Language'.

HSE University-St Petersburg Develops Partnerships with Universities in Uzbekistan
A delegation headed by Anna Tyshetskaya, Director of HSE University-St Petersburg, has visited the leading universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the working visit, agreements were reached on broad educational and scientific international cooperation in a number of areas. The first step towards formalising the partnership was cooperation within a consortium and the Centre for Russian Education, which was launched on April 28 at Samarkand State University. The next face-to-face meeting between the parties will take place in June during HSE Partner Week in Moscow.

How To Become an Arts Manager
Pursuing a career as an arts manager requires a degree in fine arts or other related sphere. Here at HSE – St. Petersburg, we have a unique Master's programme in Arts and Culture Management which was specially designed to prepare students for work in the creative arts industry. During the programme students learn and hone competencies of an art manager, get an Italian master's degree, take a chance to work on real-life projects with iconic art institutions, get involved in a Research and Study group or project laboratories organised jointly with a world-famous luxury jewellery house – the Maison Cartier. Master’s Programme 'Arts and Culture Management' Enters a Strategic Partnership with the State Hermitage
Under the agreement between HSE University and the State Hermitage, a separate agreement on a strategic partnership between the Master’s Programme in Arts and Culture Management and the museum has been established. As part of the partnership, Hermitage staff led two courses in the first semester of 2020: 'Art History and Contemporary Cultural Practices' and 'Art Management'.
