Course Syllabus

Abstract

The *Financial Business Process Analytics* discipline is aimed at providing students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in analysing financial data, optimising business processes and making data-driven management decisions in corporate finance. The course covers key aspects of financial modelling, risk assessment, performance metrics and application of modern analytical tools. Students will learn how to interpret financial statements and develop strategies to improve financial performance.

  • Obtaining the knowledge of key concepts of business processes (definition, components, types)
  • Obtaining the knowledge of business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) and other modelling standards
  • Obtaining the knowledge of process mapping techniques (flowcharts, line diagrams, value stream mapping)
  • Obtaining the knowledge of methods of analysing business processes (HOW IS and HOW WILL analysis, root cause analysis)
  • Obtaining the knowledge of performance indicators (key performance indicators, cycle time, bottlenecks, efficiency ratios)
