The head of HSE University-St Petersburg talked about large infrastructure projects which are implemented on the campus. In the first place, Anna Tyshetskaya announced the completion of construction works on Vasilevsky Island where by the end of 2024, a modern university campus of 26,6 thousand square meters will have appeared. The campus is located in a historical place—on the territory of the former Patriotic Institute for orphans built after the Patriotic War of 1812.

'The Patriotic Institute is an example of charity traditions through education development. We re-establish these traditions via a major infrastructure project. For HSE University, it is not a question of renovation and concrete but first of all, it is about positioning the university in the city, retaining the most talented youth in St Petersburg and the country and attracting the best students from abroad who come to our city because of its culture and history'.

Over three working days, among the speakers and experts at the Labour Forum were several HSE professors and researchers. Thus, Valery Gordin, Tenured Professor, participated in a roundtable on the topic of human capital role. Natalia Volkova, Associate Professor at the School of Economics and Management, discussed with the colleagues the role of networking in expanding career opportunities. Vera Munina, Leading Expert of the Centre for Applied Social Research, took part in the research session 'Transformation of Human Capital Management in the Digital Age'.
