Bill Hinchberger got his bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of California. He works as an international journalist, writer, and critic for the Financial Times, Business Week, National Geographic travel guidebooks, Devex, ARTnews, and others. During his career, he completed projects in over 50 countries.

During the meeting Bill Hinchberger told the students about his path in journalism, and what should be done to start this career. He answered a lot of questions and give advice for future journalists:

«Journalism is not a profession, it is a vocation. Those who only begin their professional career should pay a lot of attention on what your article will be about and why you are the best person to do it. Do something you are really good at. And, please, do not forget about journalism ethics, the majority of young specialists are abstaining of it».
