Course Syllabus

Abstract

During the course students will receive basic knowledge about the methods and technologies of artificial intelligence, tools for working with big data, and the basics of software development, algorithms and machine learning systems.

  • Uses Large Language Model available on the market to facilitate better quality of research
  • Knows how to properly set up instructions for LLMs to get better output
  • Is familiar with most recent AIs to use for puzzle search, research question formulation, literature review and data analysis and visualization

Assessment Elements

Assessment Elements

  • non-blocking Seminar Participation
    Students are expected to visit seminars, listen to brief explanation of how to use certain solution and engage in practice session to briefly acquaint themselves with the usage of certain AI/LLM.
  • non-blocking Homeworks
    Students are expected to complete short group home task after the seminar to ensure they are fully equipped with the knowledge on how to use certain solutions for specific academic tasks.
  • non-blocking Final Project
    Students are expected to write a group assignment which is a small research project created entirely using Artificial Intelligence solutions.
