Admission based on the entrance exams (tests results)

Once your application has been reviewed by the examination committee, the status in your account will be updated as follows:

1. Recommended for admission to a state-funded place (a scholarship).

A final decision on admission to state-funded places shall be published on the ‘For International Applicants’ page in your personal account, once all respective applications have been approved by the HSE Student Selection Committee.

2. Recommended for admission to a fee-paying place;

Depending on your entrance tests score (in total for both exams) of your application, you may become eligible for a tuition fee waiver:

  • 140-149 points — 25% of the annual tuition fee waiver;
  • 150-169 points — 50% of the annual tuition fee waiver;
  • above 170 points —70% of the annual tuition fee waiver.

3. Rejected.

If the first priority programme rejects your application, it will be automatically forwarded to the second priority programme. If the second priority programme rejects your application, unfortunately, we are unable to admit you to our undergraduate studies this year.

If your status has been changed to ‘recommended for admission to a state-funded place’ or ‘recommended for admission to a fee-paying place’, please proceed to STEP 6.
