Applying for Undergraduate Programmes

Step 3

Prepare and submit your application from APA

You can use your User ID and password to enter your account. Don’t forget to read through the form fields to be filled in (required fields are marked with an asterisk).

We recommend you to prepare your documents in advance. You will need:

  • Copy of the first page of your passport and a recent photo of you;
  • Copy of your high school certificate or equivalent. If you have not received your high school certificate yet, please attach a recent transcript of grades and marks for last 3 years;
  • Not compulsory, but additional: the documents showing your achievements in studies (e.g., diplomas, language proficiency certificates).

Before registration, make a copy of the first page of your passport with your full name and photo and save it in PDF format. For citizens of Belarus, it is necessary to make a copy of two passport pages, including one with the full name in Russian.

When you apply for HSE undergraduate programmes, you may choose one to two programmes. Once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to access it again. Only an application’s supporting materials can be updated. Please do not resend your application.

Decisions on preliminary admission are made by evaluating applicants’ credentials and supporting materials. We also consider the results and scores from Global Scholarship Competition events.

All of your supporting files must be in .pdf or .jpeg format. Their size should not exceed 15MB.

When uploading a photo, please make sure it is a passport-like portrait photo.

After your application materials have been attached, please click ‘SUBMIT’. You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your application within 24 hours. During weekends and holidays it may take up to 72 hours. Applications submitted on Friday or on the eve of a holiday after 12:00 will be considered on the next business day.
