New International Publication by HSE University Researcher Explores Supply Chain Innovation in the Tea Industry
The paper aligns with the ongoing research priorities of the International Satellite Laboratory “Reflecting Impact”, a joint initiative between HSE University–St. Petersburg and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), which recently released a comprehensive analytical report on social entrepreneurship in Russia.

Dr. Magdalena Gaete-Sepúlveda, Head of the Laboratory for Reputation Management in Education at HSE University–St. Petersburg has co-authored a new peer-reviewed article published on ResearchGate, titled:
“The Impact of Supply Chain Management 4.0 on the Performance of Tea Manufacturing Firms: Mediating Role of Market and Entrepreneurial Orientation.”

The study investigates how digital transformation in supply chain management—commonly referred to as SCM 4.0—affects the operational and strategic performance of tea manufacturing firms, with a special focus on the mediating effects of market orientation and entrepreneurial behavior. Drawing on empirical data from the tea sector, the paper highlights the pivotal role of innovation-driven ecosystems in enhancing firm competitiveness in rapidly evolving markets.
Dr. Gaete-Sepúlveda’s involvement underscores her broad scholarly interests at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation policy, and education systems.
