The 7th meeting of the HSE French Club

At the seventh meeting of the French Club, which took place on April 24, Pierre-Louis Sixx touched on the topic of Westernization of Russia from an original and rather unexpected point of view, analyzing the evolution of MGIMO and its activities in the country: How were foreign students accepted? Do they face problems in communication with Russians? How has this changed and what is the current situation?

For the second consecutive meeting, after the initial speech the discussion focused on the reproduction of elites, a hot topic in light of recent events in France and the alleged suppression of the famous National School of Government. Will there be a renewal of the elite in Russia and France in the near future?

In the near future wait for the announcement of our final meeting of this year!
