Master’s programme 'Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods' shifts to a Double Degree Track

LUISS and HSE University in St. Petersburg have signed an agreement on establishing the Double Degree Programme. Students accepted to the MA programmes at the partner universities in 2018 will be eligible for mobility in the framework of the DD Programme.

At LUISS (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli) the Double Degree Track became a part of the MA programme in Economics and Finance, which is especially prominent in the area of macroeconomics.

Here, at HSE University in St. Petersburg, the DD Track is carried out as a part of the MA programme in Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods.

The new Track is open to any candidate including international applicants.

Students study at their home university during the first and the second semesters. They can opt for Double Degree Track at a partner university for the third and fourth semesters of their studies.

The Double Degree Track is delivered in English in both universities; therefore, students planning to enroll in it should demonstrate high level of English language proficiency.

Students are not required to pay tuition or admission fees at the partner university. However, they have to cover travel expenses, accommodation and other programme related costs on their own.

The newly established Double Degree Track is a not just a great chance to obtain degrees of two eminent universities, but also to explore cultural environment and educational system of a different kind, develop professional network, and discover a foreign city.

Deadline for graduate international admissions at HSE University in St. Petersburg is approaching — July, 15. To apply for the MA programme, international applicants have to submit a portfolio of achievements, as well as pass an interview with the programme selection committee.

Recently, HSE University in St. Petersburg has launched two Double Degree Bachelor’s programmes in International Business and Management Studies and Political Science and World Politics

Since 2016, HSE University St. Petersburg and University College London have been offering the Double Degree Master’s programme in Finance.
