Student from Indonesian Partner-University of HSE University-St Petersburg Wins the International Contest 'WOWMOSCOW'

The organisers have announced the results of the International Video Competition 'WOWMOSCOW' held in the framework of the festival and forum 'Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030'. On August 15, the winner was named in the Museum of Cinema at VDNH. The winner became Takha Audyarahma, a student of the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), a partner university of HSE University-St Petersburg.

Following the results of the competition, Takha got an opportunity to create a film about Moscow with the support of a professional team. Her short-length film will be shown on August 24 in the small amphitheatre of the park 'Zaryadye' during the Moscow International Film Week.

The contest, organised by the Moscow City Tourism Committee and HSE Art and Design School, received 294 projects by participants from 12 countries. Based on the results of the selection process, the organisers invited ten young film directors from India, China, Indonesia, Brazil, Iran and Russia to Moscow. Among the finalists were students from two partner universities of HSE University-St Petersburg: Takha Audyarahma from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia) and Umang Tyagi from Subharti University (India). On the platform of these partner universities, HSE University-St Petersburg has opened its representative offices.

The finalists of 'WOWMOSCOW' participated in a film workshop and cultural and educational programme, during which they visited the most significant sights in Moscow: park 'Zaryadye', VDNH, and many others.

The forum and festival 'Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030' will last till September 8 and present the main city innovations to Moscow citizens and guests of the capital.
