Daria Markova awarded by HSE advanced stipend

Daria Markova, second year student of the programme “State, Society and Economic Development in Modern Asia” had won in the 2018 summer competition for HSE advanced scholarships awarded for special success in study and research activity.

“I am very glad to win this competition despite very high requirements to scholarship candidates. This award is an additional stimulus for me to continue my research activity and apply to other competitions”.

Daria’s article “Urbanisation as an Instrument for Increasing of Population Welfare in China”, written in co-authorship with associate professor of Moscow State Institute for International Relations Dr. Vacheslav I. Karpunin, was included to Daria’s application.

About 500 HSE students took part in the competition, and about 70 students were awarded, nine of them for scientific and research activity.
