Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course provides principles, concepts, practices and instruments of entrepreneurship with focus on innovation and technology in modern economic trends. Theoretical part of the course will include materials on the topic how to create, launch, analyze and manage the startup. The practical part of the course includes group projects with development of startups in three different industries of business

Assessment Elements

    Students are required to create and develop projects in 3 areas of the economy: IT, Medical industry, Education. While the course materials are studied, presentations should become more informative and include all the sections you have previously completed. Projects are accomplished by the groups of 4-5 students are presented in the written form (presentation) and verbally at the class. Each student is assessed individually, which means that each student should participate in the project presentation. Group course projects are graded from 1 to 10. During the presentation, knowledge and understanding of the basics of entrepreneurship, business, market and risk assessment, the right choice and form of project activity, and the competent use of existing tools are tested.
