On June 30, HSE University-St Petersburg gathered almost 5000 guests at KSK 'Arena' for the main event of this summer—graduation 2024. Bachelor's and master's students were congratulated by their friends and family, professors and faculty deans as well as HSE University-St Petersburg trustees. The diplomas of HSE University-St Petersburg were awarded to more than 1400 people, and 280 of them received the diplomas with honours. Daniil Kornev is a 2022 graduate of the Bachelor’s programme 'Political Science and World Politics'. Now, he is studying in the campus master's programme in UX-analytics and working at a gamedev company as a head of data analysis direction. Egor Akimov, a graduate of the Bachelor's programme 'International Business and Management', made the start of his career already during his studentship. Alexander Senatorov graduated from the Bachelor's in Economics in 2022. However, he already started his career as an analyst during his student years, first by winning an internship at Ozon Camp and then becoming a junior marketing analyst. Peking University is one of the twenty best universities in the world according to two rankings—Times Higher Education and QS. It is hard to enrol there but quite possible for the graduates of HSE University-St Petersburg. Kirill Kravtsov managed to enrol there straight away after the Bachelor's programme 'Asian and African Studies'. In the record of the graduate are four internships in Chinese universities and several articles. We talked to Kirill about his studies in China and development within HSE University.

Classes at the Hermitage, internships at the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre, cooperation with Sevkabel Port—all these things are part of student life on the Master's programme 'Arts and Culture Management'. Over the last year, Alisa Chernova, second-year student of the programme, has managed to study Dutch art in St Petersburg's main museum, attend the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre, and help organise the CIBA-2023 cultural event. In her fourth and final year, Veronika Gareeva, a student of the Bachelor's track 'Environment and Interior', studied at Politecnico di Milanо under the academic mobility programme. At HSE University-St Petersburg, except for the main learning trajectory, over two years, the students master an additional one—a minor. It can help to find new optics for research, choose a profession or simply broaden the horizons. A minor helped Tatyana Novotolskaya, a graduate of the Bachelor's programme 'Sociology and Social Informatics', not only find a new area for research but also get enrolled in the Master's programme at Oxford University. A graduate of the Bachelor's programme 'International Business and Management', Daria Shturma, managed to try herself in various aspects of extracurricular life over four years of studies. She organised lots of events, was a curator for first-years, a host for several Doors Open Days and the SEM Ball. We talked to Daria about interesting stories from the life of an organiser, a new event of management curators and friendship.

HSE Orientation Week came to an end. It was organised by the Career Centre and the Alumni Community. Within a week, there were 12 meetings at HSE University-St Petersburg in which 40 alumni of the campus and 350 first-years took part.
