On May 15, 2025, the Lab for Urban Studies, together with the Leontiev Center and the University of Delhi, held a joint scientific seminar dedicated to examining the impact of climate and environmental changes on the traditional livelihoods of indigenous peoples of the Western Himalayas.

On March 12, 2025, the head of the Laboratory for Urban Studies, prof. Leonid E. Limоnоv, spoke at the Annual General Meeting of the Union of Cities of the Center and Northwest Russia.
