Congratulations on candidate thesis defense to lecturer of Department of logistic infrastructure management Ivan Shidlovskiy!

On January 23, 2018 the candidate thesis defense of lecturer of Department of logistic infrastructure management Ivan Shidlovskiy took place. The subject of work is "Improvement of Stockpile Management of Batch Freights", the research supervisor - Dr.Sci.Tech., professor Victoria Darabovna Gerami.

I.G. Shidlovsky has developed new approaches to optimization of stockpile management and transport service of deliveries of batch freights to decrease logistic costs. Mono- and multinomenclature EOQ models are developed taking into account the following factors: weight and dimensional characteristics of freight, loading capacity/tonnage of vehicles for various quantity and sets used for discounts for the delivery cost, including assessment of profitability of working capital of the modelled deliveries for accounting of the concept of temporary value of money. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a new class of effective EOQ models are established. New optimization algorithms for mono- and multinomenclature deliveries of batch freights are created. Developments presented in the dissertation research allow lowering the joint logistic costs while delivering batch freights. The offered developments can be applied by various participants of supply chain.
