HSE Entered the Top 250 Graduate Universities in the World Ranking
In total, 13 Russian universities are represented in the ranking; HSE ranks 4th among them. The improvement of the HSE position in the world ranking was due to an increase in the reputation of HSE graduates among employers, an increase in number of publications written jointly with industrial partners, and an increase in the number of companies in which university students do internships.

High positions in the ratings are due, first of all, to an active approach in the field of career building - at the moment, the Higher School of Economics is paying special attention to it. More than half of students start working at the end of the 2nd year, the number of internship offers is growing, more and more attention is paid to practical tasks based on real cases and getting to know the real labour market. Currently, there are more than 800 leading Russian and foreign companies among HSE partners while interest in our students is growing every year. We, as a university, are doing everything possible so that our students take leading positions not only in academic ratings, but also in the labour market.
The QS Graduate Employability ranking methodology is fundamentally different from the QS World University Ranking general ranking methodology. It is based on five indicators: reputation among employers (based on surveys, 30%); success of graduates (25%); partnerships with employers (25%); interaction between companies and the university (10%); graduate employment rate (10%).
